The Vichy Skin Care brand of products was founded in 1931and given the name of Vichy, a small French town.Interestingly the Vichy town is know for its hot springs and its these very springs which make up the companies water source for its cosmetic products. Vichy is currently owned by cosmetic giant L'Oreal and is branded Vichy Laboratories in its marketing.

Vichy has a relatively large number of products in its skin care armor with 10 moisterizers and 4 specific eye care products. The key anti-aging element used in Vichy products is that of Pro-Xylane as well as Isobioline. Retinol is also found in some of the Vichy range such as the Reti-C Intensive Corrective Care and the Reti-C Eyes Intensive Corrective Care product. As mentioned in other reviews Retinol can be an irritant so before selecting these product check to make sure the product will not irritate your skin. Our Conclusion

We have no doubt that Vichy Skin Care and Vichy Laboratories have some good products in their anti-aging and wrinkle cream line up. The fact that so many users have reported a positive experience is also a positive sign. However we do like to see the key anti-aging ingredients being used in all good anti-aging and wrinkle creams. In addition to this Vichy don't have a specific 'regime' or routine in place to help the users with their anti-aging efforts.Additional products need to be bought in association with others which can be annoying and we would have preferred a multi-step and defined application process.This is not just an inconvenience but it can also add up in terms of costs, having to purchase multiple products for a full and comprehensive anti-aging regime.
